The New Years holiday is a notorius time for TV marathons. I’ve highlighted a few of the more interesting ones here:

Buckaroo Banzai Against the World Crime League
One of my favorite movies growing up was The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension . I watched it so much that my dad started calling me Buckaroo, and still does sometimes. The end credits tease a sequel, Buckaroo Banzai Against the World Crime League, in which Banzai would face his nemesis, Hanoi Xan. But that movie was scratched after a combination of the original film’s lackluster box office performance and the production company’s subsequent bankruptcy. Next year will mark Buckaroo Banzai’s 25th anniversary, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than finally making this sequel.

Definitely telekenesis. Probably incenerate. Maybe insect swarm.

I can finally find out what breeds Banjo and Scout are.
